On the 17th of February 2010 the Macedonian Chamber of commerce MASIT organized 3rd contest of MASIT ICT Excellence Awards (2010). MASIT members had unique opportunity to nominate their solutions in the next three categories: Public Sector Excellence, Private Sector Excellence and Digital Opportunity.
The MASIT ICT Excellence Awards are locally organized awards that nominate their winners on the WITSA (World Information Technology and Services Alliance) Global ICT Excellence Awards.
We would proudly like to inform you that out of all the outstanding nominations that participated on the MASIT ICT Excellence Awards, the Commission decided to award the following solutions:
Category Public Sector Excellence
1. Ultra
Solution: EXIM, www.exim.gov.mk
EXIM is an information system through which it is implemented one of the most important concepts for improving the commerce in the Republic of Macedonia. This system is world wide known as a Single window for Export and Import. EXIM provides an electronic submission of requests for licensees from the business community in a unified format, and the system also issues licensees for 15 state institutions responsible for the foreign commerce activities in the country. EXIM follows the license issuing through out the process of executing control for the Macedonian Customs.

2. Seavus
Solution: Integrated electronic system for public procurement, https://e-nabavki.gov.mk
The integrated electronic system for public procurement is a simple and the only web-based system for e-commerce and e-procurement of the public procurement in the Republic Macedonia. The system provides electronic commerce between the contracting authorities (suppliers) in Republic Macedonia and the local and foreign economic operators (bidders). This system eliminates the work with hard copy documents and thus provides an increased effectiveness and efficiency of the activates for assigning a contract for public procurement.
This system integrated the two current electronic systems:

· Electronic system for Public procurement

3. Nextsense
Solution: e-Parliament, www.sobranie.mk
A solution that covers entire legislation process, prepares and holds the sessions, providing high level of efficiency, cost-efficiency, mobility, transparency and responsibility in the process of preparation, implementation and the daily coordination of the decisions resulting from the legislation process of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia. At the same time it integrates Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and multiple institutions and processes into a distributed and orchestrated process that transformed legislation process from paper to paperless process.

Category Private Sector Excellence
1. Gord Sistemi
Solution: A business solution for the international company for sales, installation and servicing medical equipment
The ERP web solution covers the complete workflow process of servicing of medical equipment of DiaHem AG a Swiss based vendor, and their business partners in several countries, including Switzerland, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo).
Beneficiary customer: DiaHem AG, Switzerland
Since each WISTA member is allowed to nominate a total of three candidates (regardless of category) on the WITSA Global ICT Excellence Awards, the Commission of the MASIT ICT Excellence Awards came to a conclusion that the following solutions and their users should be nominated on the WITSA 2010 Global ICT Excellence Awards:

This year the WITSA Global ICT Excellence Awards Ceremony will be held in conjunction with the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2010 on May 25-27 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
