Macedonia on the largest IT fair - CeBIT

 

 

 

 

Yesterday, on the 02.03.2010, in Hanover, Germany, started CeBIT – the largest IT fair. Officially the fair was opened on 01.03.2010 on behalf of Dr. Angela Merkel (Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany), José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, (Spanish Prime Minister) and Bill McDermott (Co-Chief Executive Officer SAP).
This year Macedonia for the first time has its own national stand, organized by MASIT – ICT chamber of commerce with the support of Swiss Import Promotion Program (SIPPO), German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and the Ministry of Economy of Republic of Macedonia.   

The Macedonian national stand was visited by the delegation of the Embassy of Republic of Macedonia In Germany, guided by the Ambassador Gjorgji Filipov. Mr. Gilipov expressed his pleasure that or the first time the presence of the Macedonian companies on this fair is organized on a high level and it is supported by several institutions.    

On CeBIT, this year there are 4100 exhibitors for around the world, the Macedonian stand is located in the most visited and most attractive location (Hall 2 Stand D28). The companies exhibiting on the Macedonian National Stand are:  Arthaus, Asseco SEE, Axeltra, Bransys, Ein – Sof, Infinite Solutions, Neocom, Seavus. This year it more that 50 000 visitors are expected to visit CeBIT.
