NEW GOVERNANCE BODIES ARE ELECTED
for CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES – MASIT, MANDATE 01.04.2009 – 31.03.2011
On 31st of March 2009, in hotel Holiday Inn Skopje, the Third Annual General Assembly of the Chamber of Commerce for ICT – MASIT was held. This event was attended by numerous ICT companies, members of MASIT who are one of the most influencing and successful ICT companies in Macedonia, representing more than 80% of the domestic ICT market. MASIT General Assembly elected new governance bodies of the Chamber for the forthcoming period.
This Assembly was attended by over 70% of the MASIT members, which verifies the motivation and engagement shown by all the members in all Chamber activities.
The Assembly was opened by the ex-President of the Assembly, Mr. Toni Petreski, while the ex-President of the MASIT Managing Board, Mr. Vasko Kronevski, made a short presentation of all MASIT activities, results and realized projects both within the past action plan and budget, as well as the planned activities for the next year. The financial report for 2008 was presented by the deputy-president of Supervisory Board, Mr. Behar Hadjihamza.
This year the General Assembly was electoral. On this Assembly new Managing Board members were elected, as well as new members of the Advisory board and Commission of Honor. Also there were elections of new President of the Assembly and new President of the Managing Board.
As new President of the Chamber, Mr. Vasko Kronevski, form Nextsense was elected.
As President of the Managing Board of MASIT, Mr. Goran Mitreski, form Kabtel was elected and the new members of the Managing Board are the following:

As President of the Advisory Board Mr. Ilija Sekulovski, Semos was elected, and as President of Commission of Honor Mr. Goran Poposki, Cabletel was elected.
For further development of the Chamber, on this General Assembly was presented and suggested new strategic plan, action plan, budget and financial report. Moreover, the Project for Institutional Development of MASIT, supported by USAID’s project, World Learning was presented. This confirms its leading role, as the only independent Chamber for ICT industry for South East Europe, in representing the interests of all companies in the ICT Industry, and contributing for the whole business community, public interests and activities of the Government institutions |
